Ordering to Ireland as a business

We're based in the UK, so every order to Ireland goes through Irish customs. If you're buying for a company, customs need your company's EORI number to clear the parcel. Here's what that means for your order.

What is an EORI number?

EORI stands for Economic Operators Registration and Identification. It's the ID that EU customs use for businesses that import or export goods. Since Brexit, goods sent from the UK to a business in Ireland need the buyer's EORI number on the customs paperwork.

Where do I find it?

  • For most Irish companies, the EORI number is your Irish VAT number with the IE prefix, e.g. IE1234567T.
  • Not sure whether your company has one? Ask your accountant, or check with Irish Revenue: Revenue — EORI registration. VAT-registered businesses can usually register through ROS.

How do I give it to you?

You have two options:

  1. Provide your EORI number. In your cart, choose "A company" and enter the number before checkout. Forgot? Just reply to your order confirmation email with the number.
  2. Order as an individual instead. If the order isn't really for a company, or you don't have an EORI number, we can change the billing details to a private person. The parcel is then cleared as a personal import, and any Irish VAT and/or duties are collected on delivery.

What happens if I don't provide it?

If a company order reaches us without an EORI number, we'll email you and hold the order until we hear back. That way the parcel won't get stuck at customs. As soon as you send us the number, or ask us to switch the order to an individual, we'll dispatch it.
